About this Property
Overview
New to the Carolina Designs program for 2024!
Are you ready to get Windswept up in a dreamy oceanfront getaway on the Outer Banks? You and your vacation group will surely want to take advantage of a stay in this 8-bedroom seaside retreat. Several amenities that can take a vacation up a notch are available in this home. A private pool, a poolside hot tub, a private beach access, two rec rooms and a media room, an abundance of deck space - we could go on and on. You're sure to be impressed when you get to the top floor, whether by stairs or the elevator, as the view of the ocean can't be beat. Open and covered decks run the entire length of the home on both the east and south sides, so feeling the breeze off the ocean is as easy as walking through one of the many points of access throughout the middle and top floors. A private beach access is made even more exciting with a large dune deck with built-in seating that can accessed from either the pool area or the middle floor deck.
At the end of the road, you're at the south end of the popular attractions that draw people to the town of Duck year after year. Restaurants, boutiques, shops, a spa, and so much more are all right at the start of Scarborough Lane. Plus, if you walk across the street, you can access the southern entrance onto the soundfront boardwalk that runs along the Currituck Sound and takes you to even more attractions.

The ground floor rec room offers a pool table, a flatscreen TV, many seating options around the room, and a full-sized refrigerator for drink and snack storage. The bedroom with a queen bed has a private bath, and the bathroom accessible by the twins bedroom is also accessible from the rec room. Both bathrooms have a shower/tub combo. Many seating options surround the sparkling pool, so there is no shortage of chairs or loungers for your vacation group to kick back and bask in a sunny day poolside. The pool offers stairs and a ladder to enter, but if a cannonball into the deep end is more your style, that's cool, too! A gate door on the east side of the pool fence leads through to stairs that take you up to the elevated private beach access. Built-in seating on the dune deck means you have a perfect vantage point over the shoreline to watch the waves roll in.

Ascending to the top floor, there is no mistaking your home away from home for the week as an oceanside retreat. If it's not the coastal blue furnishings and decor or the natural wood mixed with bright whites, it's undoubtedly the east wall of picture windows that frame the most beautiful horizon, the Atlantic Ocean. The great room, kitchen, and dining areas are the primary focus of this level, and no matter where you are, a view of the ocean is as far as looking east. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, including two refrigerators, two dishwashers, and a Keurig. Two doors, one in the great room and the other near the dining area lead to the open and covered decks that span the east side of the house and wraparound to the south.
