Overview
"Pinch Me" is what you'll say when you enter this 6-bedroom oceanfront retreat. Enjoy unforgettable views of the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean each morning and setting on the Currituck Sound in the evenings. Pinch Me is located on the pristine strip of beach that makes up Pine Island in Corolla. Outside you will find a fully-fenced private pool, hot tub, outdoor shower with handheld and rain showerheads, decks on each level on both the east and west sides of the home, a private walkway to the beach with a dune-top deck, and a footwash and hooks to hang your beach chairs at the pool entrance. The west decks include Nags Head Hammock Adirondack chairs with side tables. On top of all that, the homeowners offer a complimentary service that includes the daily set up and take down of six beach chairs and two beach umbrellas for each of their guests. Inside you will enjoy an open floor plan on the top floor with windows letting in natural light from every angle, modern coastal decor, a kitchen with appliances that will impress the cook of the group, a relaxing media den, and more. The six spacious bedrooms give the members of your group a spot to relax at the end of the day to recharge for tomorrows vacation adventures.

Central to the ground floor is a media den with a sofa, big comfy chair, a large flat screen TV, and a Nintendo Switch. The ground floor bar is equipped with a beverage refrigerator, sink, blender, icemaker, and cabinet storage. This is a perfect spot to store food and drinks that you want to enjoy while relaxing in the media den, as well as those that you want to be easily accessible while splashing around in the pool playing volleyball (net and ball provided), lounging poolside, or playing a game of cornhole. Three bedrooms are available on the ground floor. A king bedroom and a bedroom with two pyramid bunks share a full bath. The third bedroom is furnished with a pyramind bunk and twin trundle. A full bath and laundry facilities are located on this level.

A set of exterior stairs leads you onto the middle level deck and into the entry foyer of Pinch Me. Straight ahead is a den with sofa seating, a desk, and access to the deck that overlooks the pool area and onto the ocean. This is the perfect spot to relax in the Nags Head Hammock porch swing. The bedding on the first floor includes three king bedrooms, all with flat screen TVs and private bathrooms with tubs. The two east facing king bedrooms include Blu-ray players and access to the deck, and the west facing king bedroom offers views of the sound. The northeast king bedroom has a private soundside facing deck.

The top floor offers 360 degree views of the area, which include uninterrupted views of the ocean and the sound. The kitchen, dining area, and great room share an open concept floor plan and there is space for your group to spend time together and spread out at the same time on this level. Delicious meals are bound to be prepared in the kitchen, which includes a Sub-Zero refrigerator, GE Cafe ovens, a microwave, a Thermador gas cooktop, a Keurig, two sinks (one in the island), and two Bosch dishwashers. Custom built dining tables offer seating for 10 in the dining area, 8 in the kitchen, and 4 additional bar stools at the counter. The great room has sofa seating, a large flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, seasonal electric fireplace, a 16' window seat that overlooks the ocean, a seperate seating area with a game table, and a wet bar with an icemaker. Step out onto the east-facing deck and become engulfed in the calming coastal breezes while enjoying your morning cup of coffee. Sit back on the west-facing deck and watch the sun escape behind the horizon for the evening while unwinding and sharing memories made that day. There is a half bath located on the top floor.

Updates for 2022: Completely remodeled kitchen, all new furniture, fresh interior paint and refinished flooring on the top floor, new flooring on the ground and middle floors, and all new east-facing windows. Pool deck resurfaced, new outdoor furniture added around pool, walkway to beach rebuilt, and a foot wash added.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
TVs: All 8 TVs are Smart TVs with streaming capability (guests log into their own accounts). There are three Blu-ray players in the home, located in the great room and in the two ocean-facing king bedrooms on the first floor (middle level).
Beach Chairs & Beach Umbrellas Provided: The homeowner provides 6 beach chairs and 2 beach umbrellas for 2024 guests with complimentary set-up/take down. Service is provided by Ocean Atlantic Rentals. This service does not include the day of check-in/check-out.
Security Camera: This property has a camera installed on the exterior of the front door and on the garage door.
