The ground floor recreation room features a pool table, foosball, card table, smart TV, twin-sized sleepsofa, and a refrigerator for the best in entertainment and relaxation. Bedding on this level includes a spacious bedroom with a queen bed, two twin beds, and a twin-sized sleepsofa. The ground floor shared bath has a walk-in shower and a wall-mounted hair blowdryer.
Outside, the decking surrounding the private pool and 6-person hot tub is enclosed with gated fencing. Dine outdoors at the picnic and grilling area or relax in a Nags Head hammock or double swing overlooking the pool area. A Wilmington stainless steel grill, and a Big Green Egg are available for guest use in the grilling area. Please bring your own charcoal/wood chips for the Big Green Egg. A comfortable outdoor couch provides a great place to relax with a novel in the shade. You can also play ping-pong or shoot some hoops at the basketball hoop.
The first floor offers four generous bedrooms, all with flat screen TVs and deck access. Each bathroom on this level offers a hair blowdryer for guest use. Sleeping arrangements include a king bedroom that shares a bathroom with a bedroom featuring two pyramid bunks, a queen bedroom with a private bath, and a king suite with a private bath, a double-sized sleepsofa, and a twin-sized sleepsofa. The ocean-facing covered and sun decks overlook the pool.
The 1,200 sq. ft. second floor living area boasts cathedral ceilings, a seasonal, 19-foot stone gas fireplace, large screen HDTV, Blu-ray player, surround sound, telescope, large leather sectional couch and oversized armchairs, wet bar with TV, and separate sunroom. There is ample seating for everyone with two dining tables and two bar seating areas. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, an island breakfast bar, and adjacent sitting area. A coffee corner provides an electric tea kettle, Keurig, and a regular cofee maker. Ample outdoor furniture is available on the top level wraparound deck.

Updates for 2024: The pyramid bunk located on the ground level in the queen bedroom was replaced with two twin beds, new bedside tables and lamps were added on either side of the queen bed, new exterior siding, turf added to bocce ball court, the ground floor shower was replaced, a daybed swing was added near the carport, and a telescope was added to the great room.
Updates for 2023: Pool resurfaced, new light fixtures in the great room, and updates to the outdoor shower.
Community Note: RVs and trailers of any kind are not allowed in Ocean Crest. Overnight parking in the oceanside community parking lot is strictly prohibited and towing is enforced. The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.
Security Camera: This property has a camera installed on the exterior of the front door. It is not used while guests are occupying the house.
