The backyard offers both a large grassy area and a fully-fenced private pool with a poolside hot tub.

Three bedrooms make up the middle floor. The east king bedroom has a flatscreen TV and a view of the ocean. The west king has a flatscreen TV and a private bath with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom is furnished with two twin bunks and a flatscreen TV. The east king and the bunk room are located near the full hallway bath with a shower/tub. There is a spacious deck on both the east and west ends of the house, both with exterior stairs that lead to and from the ground. The east deck offers outdoor seating and an ocean view. The west deck overlooks the backyard.

The top floor is primarily devoted to gathering spaces between the great room, dining area, kitchen, and the large ocean view deck. The great room is furnished with a sofa, a loveseat, and two armchairs. A large flatscreen TV is positioned above a seasonal gas fireplace and complements the large wall of east-facing windows with a sliding glass door that looks out towards the ocean and leads to a covered deck with a porch swing. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, Keurig, and a pantry for convenient storage. The bedroom on the top floor has a king bed, a flatscreen TV, and a private deck that overlooks the pool and onto the west. The bedroom has direct access to the shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and a soaking tub.

Updates for 2024: A new hot tub was installed by the pool.
Pool: Saltwater pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Neighborhood & Community: This house is located within the Virginia Dare Shores subdivision in Kill Devil Hills. Virginia Dare Shores is an ocean to sound community that offers a playground, known as Hayman Park, only a quarter-mile west of the home, and a soundfront gazebo with a public boat ramp located on the west end of Hayman Blvd.
