The great room's floor-to-ceiling wall of windows that frame the ocean set this home apart. Relaxing views can be savored from many vantage points in this home - experience the sea breeze from the open or covered decks, or rise to stunning vistas from one of the many oceanview bedrooms. Even the rec room on the ground floor has a sliver of horizon view! Another distinguishing feature is the huge back yard. This home is set on one of the largest lots in Nags Head, and has an expansive outdoor area that includes a private 30x16 pool (much larger than comparable homes) with shallow kids area, hot tub, cabana bar, private beach walkway, and a grassy area perfect for yard games. Indoors, amenities include a rec room with pool table and shuffleboard, as well as a dedicated home theater room, designer kitchen, and nine bedrooms with private baths (+ additional den with king bed) offering privacy and comfort.

With very little development to the west, the beaches of South Nags Head are often less crowded than our northern beaches. A sidewalk lines the length of Route 12 in front of the home, which is convenient for riding bikes or jogging, and you're not far from the Outer Banks Fishing Pier, a favorite among locals for live music and happy hour. There are many popular nearby attractions: spend a morning climbing nearby Bodie Island Lighthouse, book an offshore charter from Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, or visit historic downtown Manteo for a day trip.

Vacationers of all ages are going to love the ground floor rec room at this property, which has wall to wall windows overlooking the back yard and includes a pool table, shuffleboard, media area with flat screen, and full kitchenette/sports bar (stainless appliances include a full refrigerator, additional ice maker, dishwasher, and microwave). Modern wainscoating and additional custom finishes give this room an upscale, nautical feel. The bedrom on this level offers a twin bunkset and twin bed with trundle, as well as a private bath with tub.

Outdoors: A ramp leads to the front door from the covered car port for convenient access. The exterior of this home is a true oasis. The expansive back yard is one of the largest of any of our properties, and also one of the largest in Nags Head. Cool off in the private pool, which features a shallow area for kids, or spend vacation nights enjoying the hot tub. An adjacent cabana bar ledge is a great place to watch friends and family play yard games! The private beach walkway takes you to a covered dune top deck, where you can enjoy peaceful moments watching the waves roll in.

First Floor

5 king beds are available on the middle level of this home. There are five king rooms - please note that one of these bedrooms is considered a "den" with king bed and adjoining bathroom, but it does not have a closet. The last bedroom is a pyramid bunk and a twin bed. All rooms offer flat screen TVs, private baths, and five of the rooms have access to the deck via sliding glass doors. The covered wrap around deck offers a shady getaway to read a book, and evokes the spirit of classic Nags Head oceanfront architecture.

Bright and spacious, the open great room features a wall of windows that frame a stunning ocean view. Step out on to the open deck that overlooks the pool and on towards the ocean to enjoy the sunshine and salt breezes. Back inside, the chefs on vacation will love cooking in the high end kitchen, which offers granite countertops and dual stainless appliances (2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves, wine fridge), two Keurigs, as well as a central island with seating for 4. The dining table has seating for 12. This level also offers three king suites, each with a private bath, two of which have access to a covered oceanview deck.

Updates for 2023: New hot tub

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.

Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is normal for sand accumulation to cover the walkway and gazebo floor at this home. Weather and ocean currents can affect the dune, adding or removing sand from the walkway area. Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) regulations protect the oceanfront dune line, and prevent "digging out" walkways when sand accumulation occurs.

Please note that driving in the backyard is not permitted, as it will damage the underground irrigation system.

Special Access Amenities: This home offers a ramp to the ground floor entrance as well as an elevator. One mid level king has a bath that includes a roll-under sink, low-barrier shower, and shower seat. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant.
