Departing from Oregon Inlet Fishing Center in Nags Head at the foot of the Bonner and Basnight bridges, the Miss Oregon Inlet cruises only 10 minutes to the gateway of the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound and then it's time to drop the lines in the most abundant fishing grounds on the Outer Banks! Why ride a half-hour or more when you can spend that time fishing?

Oregon Inlet and surrounding waters abound with many species of fish, such as spot, croaker, flounder, grey and speckled trout, bluefish, puppy-drum, sea mullet, sea bass and many others. Experience nature at its best while aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet! Our fishermen often see sea turtles, porpoise, pelicans, and so much more!

The Miss Oregon Inlet is a sleek 65 footer, powered by twin 350 HP diesels, and outfitted with top quality safety equipment and fishing gear. The Miss Oregon Inlet is equipped with complete electronics including loran, fathometers, ship-to-shore and C.B. radios, a comfortable cabin, and clean restrooms.

When you fish aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet Head Boat, bait and tackle are provided and you do not need to purchase a fishing license. Captain Tripp and his experienced local crew work tirelessly to cater to your needs and make your time aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet safe, exciting, and memorable!

The Miss Oregon Inlet schedule varies throughout its season May 1st to October 31st to accommodate as many guests as possible.

The Miss Oregon Inlet Head Boat is also available for private charters and parties! Whether you're hosting a corporate retreat, bachelor or bachelorette celebrations, or a family reunion, we've got your gathering space covered! Our enclosed cabin is perfect for entertaining.

Cancellation Policy: Miss Oregon Inlet has a 48-hour cancellation policy. We require all bookings to be canceled at least 48 hours in advance or you will be charged the full price of your booking. We also offer a full refund for all trips canceled due to weather.

Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education

Corolla, North Carolina is a must see nautical village scented with the spray of the salty sea. It's located on NC Highway 12 along a thin strip of land bordered on the east by the tempestuous Atlantic Ocean, and on the west by the inland waterway of Currituck Sound. Corolla is home to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, whose beacon first beckoned to sailors at sea in 1875, and to art noveau Whalehead in Historic Corolla, a turn of the century hunt club for sportsmen. The quaint village is also home to one of North Carolina's natural history gems called the Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education. The center, which opened in 2006, is an impressive and marvelous 22,000 square foot interpretive center for young and old alike to explore the history and vast diversity of North Carolina's wildlife.
