Sound Waves is a well-appointed 2nd-floor corner unit overlooking the community pool. This unit offers its guests serenity with wonderful sunrise and sunset views all without leaving the privacy of your deck. Enjoy the peaceful echoes of the seashore salt grass between you and the Roanoke Sound while enjoying those sunsets. The unit was recently renovated with new furniture, paint, stainless steel appliances, and flooring throughout to create a cozy beach cottage feel.

Sound Waves’ central location at Whalebone Junction provides access to Jennette's Pier, Pirate's Cove Marina, and a short drive to the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center for the fishing enthusiast. For the shopping enthusiast, the outlet mall is right next door as well as many other wonderful local shops in close proximity. If you want the quaint small-town feel, you only need to drive across the Washington Baum Bridge to Roanoke Island and head to the waterfront at Downtown Manteo. Enjoy seeing The Lost Colony outdoor drama. For guests that enjoy being close to nature, it is only a short walk (or drive) to the public beach access across from The Landings at Sugar Creek. You may also enjoy the Cape Hatteras National Seashore that starts only 0.5 miles from The Landings at Sugar Creek with the Bodie Island Lighthouse and the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

After your days enjoying all the Outer Banks has to offer, you can relax in the living room with a Smart TV that has cable as well as multiple streaming services available (bring your account information) or just enjoy the sunset. All bedrooms have queen beds and cable TV; one is an en suite while the other two sharing a spacious connecting bathroom.

The Landings at Sugar Creek has 2 elevator towers to make the loading/unloading process as easy as possible. Your check-in process will be fast and easy with keyless entry and there are no keys to worry about while you are out enjoying the area. Wireless internet access keeps you connected when necessary. Don't forget to bring your favorite K-cups for the Keurig for that morning cup of coffee on the deck!

Sheets and towels are provided for all weekly rentals. No pets, please.

In 2024, the community pool was open until October 14th. Opening and closing dates for 2025 will be provided when made available by the HOA.
