Just a couple mile drive north puts you in the heart of the town of Duck, offering a soundfront boardwalk with many local shops and eateries.

The ground floor rec room is furnished with a shuffleboard table, comfortable seating, a 75" Smart TV, and a wet bar with a sink, refrigerator, and Keurig. A nearby full bath is accessible to those hanging out in the rec room and those who pick the pyramid bunk bedroom as theirs for the week. In addition to a bedroom with two pyramid bunks, there is also a king bedroom with a private bath. Laundry facilities are centrally located on this level.
A door leads from the rec room out to the pool area, where guests will find a private pool, sheltered hot tub, outdoor seating, gas grill, cornhole set, and bocce ball court. An outdoor shower allows guests to rinse off the day before heading inside to rest up for tomorrow.

The middle floor is primarily designed for sleeping accommodations. However, anyone who may have to work can find a centrally located built-in desk in the hallway of this level as well. Three king bedrooms each have a private bath with walk-in showers and sliding door access from the bedroom to the deck that wraps from the north to the east side of the house. The fourth bedroom is furnished with two twin beds and a private bath with a shower/tub combo.

The top floor brings your group together in the open concept space that makes up the great room, kitchen, and dining area. The great room has a nearby door that leads out onto the deck that faces the ocean and wraps around the north side of the house, which offers a sliding glass door that will put you back inside in the dining area. Furnished with two outdoor dining tables each seating four, you can enjoy a meal while sitting in the fresh coastal breeze. The kitchen offers two refrigerators (icemakers in both freezers), a gas range, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, Keurig, and a large island with a sink and seating for those who want to be a part of the food prep conversation. Small appliances include two coffee makers, a griddle, and a crockpot. A king bedroom on this level features a walk-in closet, a private bath with a walk-in shower and soaking tub, and a sliding glass door to the deck.

Neighborhood & Community: Guests enjoy community access to a park with playground, soccer field, basketball court and picnic area, available at Sea Oats Park on the corner of Sea Oats Trail and Hickory Drive. The private Southern Shores Marina is located on S. Dogwood Trail and provides a boat launch into Ginguite Creek, which connects to the Currituck and Albemarle Sounds. All of our Southern Shores homeowners are members of the SSCA Tennis Club, so you will receive an access code to the Hillcrest Tennis Courts, located just past the corner of Hillcrest Drive and Sea Oats Trail. Please note that vehicles must display a SSCA guest parking pass on the dashboard in community parking areas.
TVs: The great room has a frame TV. All the other TVs are Smart TVs with Roku.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Security Camera: This property has a camera installed on the birdhouse pole facing towards the front entrance of the house.
