The ground floor scores full marks for entertainment. A game room that features a pool table and a foosball table for friendly competition, a game table, a media area with a large smart TV, and a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, wine cooler, and live edge countertops. Accommodations on this level are two king suites and a bedroom with two pyramid bunks.
Upon stepping outdoors from the ground level via sliding glass doors, you are greeted by an incredible private pool area with many features. The glistening pool is complemented by a rock waterfall, and the nearby hot tub is the ideal place for a rejuvenating soak. The pool house offers thoughtful amenities such as a full bathroom with a shower, a wet bar with a mini-fridge, and a fiberglass rooftop sundeck that is ideal for sunbathing. There are many options to stay entertained, including a full-size sand volleyball/badminton court, basketball hoop, and a private putting green. An elevated walkway to the beach, with a foot wash and an open outdoor shower completes the outdoor area.

There are three king bedrooms, each with a private bath, a bedroom with two double beds and a private bath, and a bedroom with a pyramid bunk and a bedroom with two pyramid bunks that share a bath. Central to this level is a quiet nook/lounge area with a table making it a nice spot to work remotely if needed.

The centerpiece of this waterfront estate is the top floor great room, boasting elegant furnishings, tiled counters, detailed arches, and open spaces. The living area offers a large Roku Smart TV (Spectrum app provided, use own logins for other apps). The formal dining area is composed of three custom-made dining tables, one seating 14, one 10, and a round dining table and bar that seats 9 for a total seating of 33. All the dining tables are complemented by an amazing panoramic ocean view. Vacation days spent at Almost Heaven will not be complete without many trips to the oceanside deck, right off the dining room via sliding glass doors, to soak in the spectacular sunrises and amazing daytime views.
The kitchen is a chef's delight, 32 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer, two dishwashers, two cooktops, two ovens, two sinks, microwave, a beverage fridge (with capacity for 20 bottles of wine and 78 cans), a Keurig, two coffee pots, and a walk-in pantry. The loft is an elevated area overlooking the great room with direct views of the Wright Brothers National Memorial, and can be a quiet getaway area. This level is completed by a king suite (appropriately named, Captain's Quarters) featuring a king bed, private balcony with excellent views of the Wright Brothers National Memorial and color drenched sunset skies, a sitting room, a large smart TV, a walk-in closet, and a private bath with double sinks, vanity, whirlpool tub, and a glass walk-in shower with double showerheads.

Almost Heaven is not your typical oceanfront home - it is a family-owned home that takes great pride in yearly updates to ensure guests, their families, and friends have an incredible experience! Many personal touches are present, most completed by the family. A recent initiative was to name the bedrooms, reflecting local heritage, that will assist guests in planning and assigning rooms. The names of the ten bedrooms are: Captain's Quarters, First Mate, Waterfowl, Light House, Surfboard, Offshore, Sunshine, Orville and Wilbur, Yellowfin, and Loggerhead. The owners of Almost Heaven are constantly making upgrades, as this home is their home when you're not there.
Updates for 2025: New house sign with "Almost Heaven" logo that makes the house/name visible from the road for easy identification, ground floor rec room completely updated with new LVP flooring, new kitchenette area with live edge countertop and new wine cooler that holds 20 bottles of wine and/or 78 cans, new custom round dining room table with chairs, new landscape roping surrounding the manicured yard, upgraded landscaping with Palm Trees, Little Gem Magnolia Trees, Oleanders and Cactus Plants, new pool heater and additional pool side chairs, upgraded recessed lighting and fixtures in the top floor bedroom and bathroom, upgraded lighting throughout. Subject to change until complete.
Updates for 2024: Two new custom dining room tables with benches and chairs (one table seats 14, the other 10), a new sectional sofa with chaise lounge in the great room, a new foosball table in the rec room, new rugs and comforters in select rooms, new furniture in one middle floor king bedroom, and four new refrigerators. A large 32 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer with icemaker replaced the kitchen fridge and a wine cooler that holds 20 bottles of wine and 78 cans was added, the full-size refrigerator in the rec room was replaced, and the cabana mini fridge was replaced.
Updates for 2023: New pool liner, new Trex table on top floor deck, and updated landscaping.
Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is normal for sand to accumulate on this home's beach steps and walkway.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Please Note: The fireplace is not available for guest use.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
