Manteo Food, Beer & Wine Events - 2024 Schedule

This special weekend celebration, held in Early December, is the result of a partnership among some of the historic town's favorite attractions and organizations, namely the Elizabethan Gardens Board of Directors, The Island Farm, and the Manteo Preservation Trust. As a result, off-season Roanoke Island visitors will enjoy an inside look at some of the community's favorite sites and historic homes, which are all decked out with a festive holiday decor. Attendees will enjoy full access to community open houses at the Roanoke Island Farm, the Elizabethan Gardens, and a number of historic residences that are all part of the Holiday Tour of Homes. The event coincides with the start of the WinterLights celebration at Elizabethan Gardens, making it an extra special adventure for locals and visitors alike on the hunt for an inspired way to get into the holiday spirit. A fun outing that is celebrated throughout this historic Outer Banks town, the Roanoke Island Christmas Weekend is sure to put any vacationer into a festive and downright merry mood.
