Be sure to visit Historic Roanoke Island which includes the N.C. Aquarium, Elizabethan Gardens, shopping in historic downtown Manteo complete with a replica Lighthouse and the outdoor ‘Lost Colony’ drama. Also, close to the National Seashore route south through Pea Island, and down to Hatteras for a day trip to the Lighthouse. You'll love all the choices available at the ‘Twisted Fish’!
