Double your vacation excitement and pleasure at the newly-renovated one back from the ocean home, Twin Tides. The Askins Creek subdivision ocean walkway is just across a quiet, kid-friendly crossing that will deposit your guests at one of our favorite beaches. Twin Tides has easy parking and two carports. An outdoor shower will keep guests fresh, and a nearby park grill will keep them fed. There is a welcoming hammock swing on the first exterior access landing. The main house opens with a south sundeck with a bubbly hot tub and a large screened furnished porch with a picnic table. You can catch all sunrises and sunsets from the next-level lookout deck. Twin Tides has a large combo great room, with the kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen features updated appliances, a breakfast bar, and an exterior west sundeck. The cathedral ceiling with fans adds plenty of open space and a breeze to the mix. The living area has comfy resort furniture and an entertainment package with a large LED TV/DVD and stereo. You will always find the perfect time and tide to hit the beach at lovely oceanside Twin Tides.

Southwest bedroom one shares a full bath with tub shower with oceanside bedroom two. On the other side of the great room is Northwest bedroom three. Bedroom four shares a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo with bedroom three. All of the bedrooms have LED TVs.

Established in 1948 by Walter and Stelle Gray, Gray’s began as a single store on the beach road in Nags Head, a land mark that has been beautifully transformed into Seagreen Art Gallery. Visitors to the original Gray’s may remember that the family home was located above the store and that Walter Gray had a passion for Big Band music that was often playing on the store speakers, giving shoppers a little swing in their step.

 

Modern-day Gray’s is still family owned and operated by their children Ronnie and Julie Gray, who carry on a legacy of superior customer service and traditional values. Ronnie’s wife Susan is also an important part of the business. “It really was always a family operating as a business rather than a business being run by a family,” explains Ronnie Gray. “When our visitors come in, they are greeted by a warm hello and a ‘Welcome to Gray’s.’ We try to welcome them as if they’re entering our own home”
