A bedroom furnished with a king bed is located on this level. The rec room and the queen bedroom are both located close to the full shared bath. Laundry facilities and access to the covered carport complete this floor.
Doors lead to the outdoor area that includes a fully-fenced private pool and seperate hot tub. The pool is surrounded by a nice variety of poolside seating and lounge chairs. The greenery around the pool fence provides a uniquely private experience. While everyone swims, throw some burgers and hot dogs on the grills (two gas grills provided) for a carefree evening BBQ.

The first floor is dedicated to bedroom suites, including two stylish kings with private baths and direct covered deck access. A charming bedroom with a queen bed has direct covered deck access and shares nearby access to a full hallway bathroom with a bedroom furnished with a king bed. The furnished covered deck overlooks the pool and includes a hammock and a hammock swing for two, perfect for afternoon relaxation.

The sun filled great room extends a warm welcome to all who enter. Tastefully furnished for peaceful ambiance, guests are treated to impressive ocean views and two plush sofas, as well as a loveseat, arranged around a large flatscreen TV and decorative fireplace. The dining area has a large table, and the kitchen counter offers bar seating for four. The fully equipped kitchen offers a refrigerator/freezer, Keurig, standalone ice maker, dishwasher, convection oven, microwave, veggie sink, and pantry.
Head up the half flight of stairs to a relaxing ships watch with a sofa and arm chairs to enjoy amazing ocean views! A half bath is also centrally located for shared use.
Doors lead to furnished wraparound decks that are the perfect place to start your day with morning coffee as the sun rises over the Atlantic or sun bathe in the afternoons while enjoying vistas of the ocean. A king suite with direct sun deck access and private bath complete this level.

Updates for 2022: New Samsung Smart TVs in all bedrooms with Spectrum app for live TV and streaming capability (guests log into their personal accounts), new Wi-Fi network with three routers to cover the whole house, decks, and pool area; and a new 2-person hammock swing from Nags Head Hammock.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 8-10 degrees above the ambient air temperature and has a maximum setting of 80 degrees. Example: If the ambient air is 65 degrees, the pool would heat to approximately 73-75 degrees.
Please note: The fireplace is not available for guest use.
Community note: Trailers, boats, and mobile homes/RVs are not allowed to be parked in the driveways of any Ocean Sands properties; parking is only permitted in the driveways of homes; golf carts and motorized carts/scooters/buggies are also prohibited in Ocean Sands.
