X-Spearmint Sportfishing offers great trips for all, from children who have never fished, to experienced anglers. Capt Ryan has been fishing these waters his whole life and knows the best spots to take his customers.
His trips are a great way for the younger generation to get involved with fishing. Capt. Ryan will teach them step-by-step how to fish. His 4-hour afternoon trip is perfect for children that are not early risers. This is a great introduction to saltwater fishing as the trip normally stays within a few miles of the beach and within sight of land. You could expect to catch a variety of species from Mackerel to Ribbonfish.
His longer trips offer a lot of flexibility, dependent on the sea conditions, so you are able to target your trophy fish. You can expect to hook King Mackerel and Cobia and bottom fish for Tilefish and Seabass. His custom-designed center console has twin Yamaha engines, with 600 HP and a cruising speed of 27 knots. This means more time fishing, less time traveling, great for all trips!
His boat also boasts a full tower and upper station for sighting fish. This is great for fishing Cobia and schools of Drum. It has all the navigational equipment to get you on the fish fast, including a fishfinder and radar. Coupled with Capt. Ryan’s knowledge of the area, the speed of the boat, and the fishfinder, it’s no wonder that customers are on the fish fast, with plenty of time to hook in their catch.
The boat also comes with many home comforts, such as an enclosed private restroom, and plenty of storage in the bow to keep all your belongings dry. There are 2 large ice-boxes on board, one for the fish you will catch, and one for your drinks and food. You are welcome to bring any snacks you fancy for your trip including adult beverages, but please remember to bring plenty of water!
Capt. Ryan looks forward to welcoming you aboard!
