This beautifully decorated cottage is centrally located near Milepost 4 in Kitty Hawk! With all the amenities you could ask for, family fun and memories are about to be created with a private 14 x 28 Solar Heated Pool, 6 person Hot Tub and a Chip and Putting Green! Your family and friends will love the unforgettable ocean views from the furnished sundecks and relaxing on the furnished covered decks to keep you out of direct sunlight but still enjoying the weather. Pool available 5/7-10/8. The short 350-foot walk to the water's edge from "Gone to Carolina" will make for a quick and easy trip to the beach with a direct beach access. An Outside Shower is conveniently located in the carport area for easy rinsing after a day on the beach!

There is also a basketball goal, along with a fish cleaning table and gas grill for easy cooking and clean-up! Comfortably accommodating 12 people, there are a total of 5 bedrooms and 2 baths with hardwood floors and central air/heat to keep everyone cool. The middle level is cozily situated with a queen bedroom and a full bedroom (with a bunk set), a full-sized bathroom with double sinks, along with the kitchen, living room, and dining areas! You will appreciate the short walk upstairs with groceries while moving in, as well as the microwave and dishwasher.

The top level of "Gone to Carolina" features 2 king bedrooms, a bunk bedroom, and a full hall bath with double sinks! A washer and dryer are provided for your convenience to keep linens, beach towels, and clothes laundered throughout your stay. For indoor entertainment, stay connected with complimentary WIFI and 6 TVs! Located between the highways in Kitty Hawk, "Gone to Carolina" is not only wonderfully close to the famous John's Drive-In for a famous milkshake and fried dolphin boat, but you will also not want to miss a trip to Bucaneer's Walk for a famous junkyard dog from "Captain Frank's" before shopping at the vintage and antique stores, bookstore, gift shop, and grabbing a fresh ice cream cone on the way out nearby! It was 1978 when Eddie and Lou Miller first opened Miller’s Seafood and Steakhouse. As a teenager, their son Brian spent his summers working in the restaurant, getting familiar with the family business. After college, Brian and his wife Beth came back to Kill Devil Hills and began working together at Miller’s. Brian and Beth officially purchased the restaurant from Eddie and Lou in 2007. A few years later they opened American Pie together, and both restaurants now carry on the Miller family tradition of quality, excellence and hospitality.
