There’s a fish with your name on it in Hatteras and Albatross Fleet will help you catch it!
You’re likely to go after Amberjack, Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Snowy Grouper, Tilefish, and more with any luck. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Bryan can also have you kite fishing.
Capt. Bryan welcomes children aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You’re welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Bryan will bring you aboard the Albatross II, a 44’ sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Bryan will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so an 18-20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can’t go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Albatross Fleet and get hooked!
