Phideaux Fishing is a family-owned and operated charter company with over 3 decades of experience in the Outer Banks and Oregon Inlet, North Carolina. The crew can be found on the water year-round and always follow the bite!
The key to premium North Carolina fishing is the “Phideaux”, a spacious 52’ Scarborough Flybridge vessel. Originally built in 1988, she was up hauled in 2017 and is fully outfitted with the latest in navigational electronics and professional accessories.
There is a fighting chair for those who are up for a challenge, as well as a flybridge to spot any action going on beneath the surface. Her single 1000 HP Caterpillar engine will power you to the hottest fishing grounds both close to the shore and far out. Inside, she’s air-conditioned and equipped with a restroom, a kitchen, and a bed.
Test the bite close to the shore on a half day trip and target Bluefish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and Drum. Or head out from the Inlet for the best offshore game fishing there is.
You’ll hook into Blackfin, Bigeye, Bluefin, and Yellowfin Tuna, as well as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, and Marlin. Add chasing King Mackerel, Cobia, and even Sharks, to the mix and you’re in for a seriously rod-bending adventure!
Phideaux Fishing has enough tackle for three boats but you’re always welcome to bring your own if you wish. The weather can be unpredictable, so you will need to bring appropriate clothing. Snacks and drinks are also recommended on longer trips.
Head out with this talented crew and explore the best of what these waters have to offer with Phideaux Fishing!
