Someone can’t keep a secret - the wonderful sound-side home A Seacret Paradise is Rodanthe’s hottest vacation number! There is parking in the carport, a private pool with a tropical bar and plenty of furniture, a fish-cleaning station, a gas grill, and an outdoor shower/toilet. The home is an easy walk to a very inviting oceanfront. The best ocean and sound views are available from the well-furnished top decks.

A Seacret Paradise is chic and comfortable, and every wall has a piece of unique and pleasing art. The comfy living area has wood floors, ceiling fans, leather furniture, a gas fireplace, an entertainment center with a large LCD TV and a Blu-ray player, and a half bath. A furnished east-facing oceanside deck allows for good sunning and ocean views. The west side has a screened porch with deck chairs. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, wood floors, granite countertops, and a wine bar with a cooler. The dining area allows sneak peeks of the ocean.

The primary bedroom has an elegant bathroom with a super shower, deck access, and an iPod dock. One of the guest bedrooms also has deck access, and all have TVs.

A Seacret Paradise is a strong candidate for this year’s best-of-the-beach vacation home.

Lost Treasure Golf

The noted explorer, archaeologist, anthropologist, paleontologist, and part-time plumbing contractor from the University of Chicago, Professor Duffer A. Hacker, led two expeditions to the outer banks in the late 1920’s. The purpose of these expeditions was to search for an answer as to what happened to the lost colony of Roanoke Island and to look for treasure believed to have been hidden by Blackbeard the Pirate. Professor Hacker’s first surprise was the discovery of an old mining train built by the Confederate Army during the Civil War. They were searching for gold to finance their war effort. Take the mining car* to the top of the mountain and follow Professor Hacker as you putt your way through an adventurous expedition to find gold and diamonds.
