Roanoke Island Christmas Weekend

Get into the holiday spirit "Outer Banks style" by visiting the charming town of Manteo during the Roanoke Island Christmas Weekend. As a result, off-season Roanoke Island visitors will enjoy an inside look at some of the community's favorite sites and historic homes, which are all decked out with a festive holiday decor. Attendees will enjoy full access to community open houses at the Roanoke Island Farm, the Elizabethan Gardens, and a number of historic residences that are all part of the Holiday Tour of Homes. The event coincides with the start of the WinterLights celebration at Elizabethan Gardens, making it an extra special adventure for locals and visitors alike on the hunt for an inspired way to get into the holiday spirit.
