This year, the Duck Jazz Festival proudly reaches its 16th anniversary, and with it, we unveil our artistic vision:“Duck Grooves: The Sound of Jazz,” is an electrifying celebration of jazz’s dynamic, ever-evolving nature, set against the stunning backdrop of the Currituck Sound. It’s a fusion of past, present, and future, where the timeless traditions of jazz intersect with the vibrancy of new, innovative sounds. Just as the sound of jazz flows and adapts, so too does the landscape of Duck where the rhythm of the music harmonizes with the natural beauty of the water and the surrounding environment.
In the waters off the coast of North Carolina lies a world of adventure and competition brought vividly to life by the TV series "Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks." This captivating show, an offshoot of National Geographic's highly successful "Wicked Tuna," takes viewers into the heart of North Carolina's offshore fishing industry where skilled fishermen compete for the ocean's most prized giant bluefin tuna.
4 Paws Inn is a family and pet-friendly house located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Nags Head. This house provides the best of both worlds, located only 700 feet from a beach access and across the highway from the hiking trails of Nags Head Woods. With a big back yard, you can spend lots of time relaxing with all of the family, even the four-legged ones. Play horseshoes, grill out some dinner on the gas grill or sun on the crow’s nest. There's entertainment for everyone with TVs and DVD players in all bedrooms. The Bonnett Street beach access is one of the most well-appointed accesses, with plenty of parking (should you choose to drive), restroom and shower facilities, beach volleyball court, and a lifeguarded beach. Also nearby is the Nags Head Fishing Pier, where you can reel in a fresh catch, or simply watch other anglers try their hand at fishing and crabbing.
