This year, the Duck Jazz Festival proudly reaches its 16th anniversary, and with it, we unveil our artistic vision:“Duck Grooves: The Sound of Jazz,” is an electrifying celebration of jazz’s dynamic, ever-evolving nature, set against the stunning backdrop of the Currituck Sound. It’s a fusion of past, present, and future, where the timeless traditions of jazz intersect with the vibrancy of new, innovative sounds. Just as the sound of jazz flows and adapts, so too does the landscape of Duck where the rhythm of the music harmonizes with the natural beauty of the water and the surrounding environment.
While several of the Outer Banks' most popular sports seemingly flew onto the scene in the past decade or two, like kiteboarding or stand up paddle boarding (SUP), windsurfing has been drawing water sports lovers to the North Carolina coast for nearly fifty years. In essence, windsurfing can pride itself as being the Outer Bank's oldest, and one of its most beloved sound-based sports, and everyone from seasoned riders to windsurfing newcomers can catch an exceptional ride.

Right on Virginia Dare Trail aka Beach Road, this house is literally steps from the beach. You have easy walking distance to both the Byrd Street and Fonck Street beach accesses. The owners have completely renovated this property this year bringing you a modern, upgraded experience! The biggest issue you will have on your vacation at One More Moon is deciding where you want to hang out! Will you be down on the hammock underneath the house? Maybe playing a game of ping pong or sit in the hot tub while the grill is cooking the evening meal. Or perhaps sitting at the covered bar area telling your family and/or friends about your day. Oh, or maybe you'll venture up to the top deck and sit on one of the chairs sipping a cold beverage while staring at the ocean. One more choice is the covered front porch with a table and chairs as well as a sitting area. Did we mention the outdoor pool? Watching the cars drive down Beach Road while hearing the waves crash on the beach. Of course, the inside living space is super comfortable to hang out in as well. The lovely one-level living allows for convenience and comfort. You will find the living area, the kitchen filled with new appliances, a dining area, 2 Queen En Suites, and 1 Pyramid Bunk En Suite all on the same level. All of the bedrooms have access to the deck! From the kitchen area, head out onto the privacy of a full front porch and enjoy a meal as you listen to the waves crash on the shore across the street. The beach is so easily accessible that you might not want to go anywhere else, but being in the heart of Kitty Hawk, you will be so close to delicious local eateries, grocery stores, shopping, and attractions. In addition, it is a quick drive to both Duck and Kill Devil Hills on either side. An outdoor pool, hot tub, and upscale, outdoor, covered back bar are included in your vacation rental. Spend your days at the beach or the pool and your nights in the hot tub. Go up to the upper-level deck above the bar and enjoy some ocean or star gazing in the beautiful Outer Banks sky. Challenge your friends and family to a game of ping pong at the all-weather table under the carport. And if you just want to sit back, get away, and read your book or take a nap, the multi-level decks are filled with comfortable outdoor seating. There is also a washer and dryer available at this property should you want to have clean and fresh towels with you every day at the beach. **There are 3 parking spaces for guests.** **Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Hot Tubs are available year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.** Check-In begins at 4pm.Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time. Check-Out is 10am.
