The 8th Annual Outer Banks Brewtag is back on October 26th, 2024, at the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head, NC! This one-of-a-kind event, inspired by Red Bull Flugtag, invites teams and individuals to compete by launching and flying a 1/6 keg barrel the farthest. Admission is free and there will be plenty of craft beer from eight local breweries, delicious food, and live performances from three local bands throughout the day.


Bring the whole family for a day of fun, with a dedicated Kid Zone filled with activities and our exciting BOOTAG Halloween Costume Contest for the little ones. Plus, the event is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along for the festivities!


Proceeds from OBX Brewtag benefit the Rogallo Foundation, supporting the creation of a museum dedicated to Francis and Gertrude Rogallo, pioneers of free flight. Enjoy great beer, live music, family fun, and a celebration of aviation history at this unforgettable Outer Banks event!
