This year, the Duck Jazz Festival proudly reaches its 16th anniversary, and with it, we unveil our artistic vision:“Duck Grooves: The Sound of Jazz,” is an electrifying celebration of jazz’s dynamic, ever-evolving nature, set against the stunning backdrop of the Currituck Sound. It’s a fusion of past, present, and future, where the timeless traditions of jazz intersect with the vibrancy of new, innovative sounds. Just as the sound of jazz flows and adapts, so too does the landscape of Duck where the rhythm of the music harmonizes with the natural beauty of the water and the surrounding environment.

Ocracoke Harbor

The Ocracoke Harbor is easily the busiest quarter mile stretch of Ocracoke Island. Consisting of a small, lagoon-like section of saltwater, and lined by a semi-circle of docks, restaurants, shops, marinas and motels, visitors will find that any and all of the activities on Ocracoke Island can most certainly be found harbor front.

Rooms three and four are also king main bedrooms with access to the south side deck in each of them. The great room and kitchen areas offer plenty of space, natural sunlight, and fantastic ocean views. The three-person breakfast bar and eight-person dining room table provide plenty of seating for shared meals, and the kitchen is well-equipped to prepare your secret family recipes. With only one other home close by, this is a nice and quiet spot in Rodanthe with plenty of privacy.
