Make the most of your time in Wanchese and go fishing with Sea Reaper Sportfishing.
Species like Black Drum, Cobia, Sailfish, Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, Tilefish, Bigeye Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and use heavy tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to let us know if children are fishing on the Sea Reaper to ensure appropriate-sized life jackets. It is recommended to bring drinks, snacks, and sun protection so that everyone stays happy and energized! The charter will provide all the rest.
You’ll be dropping lines from a 46’ Buddy Harris sportfishing boat with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Sea Reaper Sportfishing and get hooked!
