Eastbound Charters is your ticket to the stunning waters of Wanchese. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Hunter Haskett is prepared to put you on fish.

These waters are known for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Red Drum, Cobia, Gray Triggerfish, Black Seabass, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.

Your day begins aboard a 32’ Carolina Custom saltwater fishing with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 15–20% tip is customary. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Trips with Eastbound Charters are kid-friendly, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Some essentials to bring are snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
