Speechless Sportfishing is located in Manteo NC and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. The company is home to the popular "Saltwater Fishing University" internet video channel with "The Professor" Captain Ron Edwards leading the way. He welcomes you to his clean, well-maintained boat. It’s an express style, which means it’s a more interactive experience for everyone as the captain is on the same level as the passengers (unless he gets up in the tower on calm days). This style also gives customers a full view (360 degrees) of the ocean, where you’ll even be able to spot fish and be a part of the full fishing experience.
The Speechless crew has a passion for its customers and making sure they have amazing experiences on the water. With state-of-the-art equipment, including "side scan" (enabling you to see fish many hundreds of feet to the left and right of the boat), chances are higher you’ll have a successful day fishing.
The crew will do its best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 10-hour trips, mainly fishing for Dolphin (Mahi), Marlin, Wahoo, and Tuna, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as trolling and big game fishing.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 40’ Blackwell Boatworks boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet, ac (in cabin), an ice-box, and a fighting chair.
The pricing includes everything you’ll need to fish – all the gear, and licenses. The only other expense to keep in mind is the tip for the mate, which is roughly 18-20% of the trip fee, on average,as well as the cost to filet the fish, (offshore charters are required to have fish cleaned in the fish-cleaning house on site, which generally comes in around .48 cents per lb.
Please reach out with any questions, the crew knows going offshore can sound intimidating if you’ve never gone before.
