Join the crew of The Brewing Station – a beloved destination for beer lovers – for this annual, active celebration that will give attendees a jump start on their St. Patrick’s Day festivities. The Annual Outer Banks Beer Mile is becoming a favorite tradition for locals and spring vacationers alike, and is a great chance to get in a little run while enjoying some of the tastiest brews that the OBX has to offer.
The event is hosted by the OBX Running Company, and entails an energetic race that requires runners to down a 10 oz. beer for every quarter mile that they tackle. Attendees are encouraged to don their luckiest and greenest attire for the event, and the Beer Mile will even have a costume contest for the best dressed participants. In addition to the beer and the race, attendees and their fans are welcome to celebrate after the action with a backyard party that is hosted by the Brewing Station. A good time for avid runners and beer drinkers alike, with free T-shirts for all participants, the Annual Outer Banks Beer Mile is a great way to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day spirit that thrives all along the coastline of the OBX.
